• MSME Def Expo was held on 2-4 March 2012 at Bangalore 
• 4th BRICS Summit in New Delhi in 2012. BRICS is a unique grouping of countries with shared opportunities and common challenges. The agenda of BRICS meetings has widened considerably over the years to encompass topical global challenges such as international terrorism, climate change, food and energy security, developmental issues and the international financial crisis. 
• The winners of the Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) 2012 pageant  declared and  the winners are Vanya Mishra (Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2012), Prachi Mishra (Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2012), Rochelle Maria Rao (Pantaloons Femina Miss India International 2012).
